I made the mistake of purchasing an inferior pontoon boat because of the low price. The frame broke apart at the welds on my first outing. I took some time to research different companies and I learned a valuable lesson along the way. The Creek Company’s XR10 pontoon boat is absolutely outstanding. The frame is solid and I feel very safe taking it out on my favorite high mountain lake as well as the Sacramento River where I also fish. It handles the light rapids with ease and offers a very stable platform to fish from. I highly recommend this boat. My son purchased a Skykomish Sunrise pontoon boat from the Dave Scadden line. His boat was more expensive than mine and he wishes to this day that he had gone with the XR10 as I did. This is an outstanding boat and there are many after market products available depending on what you need. Enjoy!
